Minimap Secrets
Reading the map
The minimap rotates with you — up is always the way you are facing. Red dots are raiders, orange dots are drakes, and the ringed orange dot is the boss dragon. Small coloured specks are pickups: red-white for medkits, blue for shields, yellow for ammo.
Never get flanked
Glance at the map every few seconds. If a red dot slides toward the edge of the circle behind you, someone is flanking — turn and pre-aim before they arrive. The N marker shows world north so you can call directions.
Plan your loot route
Between fights, use the pickup specks to plan the shortest safe route to heal up. The map also shows your own walls, so you can retreat to forts you built earlier in the level.
Dragon watch
Dragons circle you, so their orange dots orbit on the map. When the dot swings in front of you, expect a fireball — strafe early. Tracking dragons on the minimap beats staring at the sky.
